Levee Road Closure Extended

Due to unexpected delays in relocating XCEL Energy’s utility poles along Levee Road as well as tight construction quarters, Levee Road from Jackson Street to the Red Wing Grain offices will be closed to through traffic for approximately another 2 weeks.  It was previously expected that Levee Road would be open to through traffic by the end of this week.  Traffic control is in place and drivers are encouraged to avoid this area. The City of Red Wing invites anyone with an interest in the upcoming construction of Highway 61 (Main Street) Project to attend a public Open House, scheduled for Thursday, March 10th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Red Wing Public Library, Foot Room (225 East Ave, Red Wing).
