This morning the National Weather Service lowered the crest again and now is 12.4 for Sunday Morning. Colvill Park will remain OPEN for the weekend but parts of the park will be barricaded off. The boat launch at Colvill will also be closed.
In 2011 Colvill Park was closed when the river reached 12.48 and was expected to continue to rise. With the crest of 12.4 for Sunday, I expect that the crest will continue to be lowered over the next few days. Of course that still depends on the weather, but the forecast is for less rain.
