Negatively Impacting Your Property Taxes and Public Services In February, Governor Pawlenty unveiled his supplemental budget proposal to resolve the state’s $1 billion budget deficit. The  Governor’s proposal disproportionately directs cuts to property tax relief programs including the Local Government Aid (LGA) and Market Value Homestead Credit  (MVHC)  programs,  which  will  negatively  impact  property  taxes and public services. Memorial Park to open sometime Friday, April 2nd

The City of Red Wing was informed on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 that the second round application process for federal stimulus dollars has been terminated. Hiawatha Broadband Communications, Inc., a partner dedicated to working with cities like Red Wing, has made the difficult and unfortunate decision to terminate the federal stimulus application process due to business reasons.
