During the spring and fall, the City offers residents the opportunity to dispose of brush, branches, and shrub trimmings at the Solid Waste Campus free of charge. Stumps are not accepted at the Waste Campus.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following is a listing of measures set forth to ensure the health and well-being of City Staff and the Public:
No Garbage or Construction & Demolition Material Disposal or Drop-off
No Recyclable Material Drop-off
No Compost or Wood Chip Loading by City Staff or Residents
No Electronics, Appliance, or Furniture Disposal
Staff will maintain a 6’ social distancing space between themselves & all customers.
The CDC has recommended the use of face masks.
Staff won’t be allowed to assist customers removing yard waste or brush from the customers’ vehicles or trailers.
Barriers will direct customer’s access to yard waste & brush disposal area only.
Temporarily Extended Hours
Between October 21 and November 8, 2020, yard waste and brush may be dropped off at the Waste Campus during the hours below: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Residents may also opt to rent a roll-off dumpster for their spring or fall yard waste at a reduced rate during these time periods. Roll-off dumpsters rented at the reduced rate may only be used for brush, trees, flowers, grass, leaves, and other compostable yard waste.
