Administrative Services

The Administrative Services Department consists of the internal support team that offers services to all City employees. There are ten full-time positions and four part-time AV Tech positions in this department.  

Services delivered include:

  • Administrative Support for employees at City Hall; board and commission work, including coordination of applications/appointment; training and support for members and staff liaisons; board packet preparation and publication.
  • Human Resources functions including recruitment, management of the personnel policy, contract negotiations, and administration of the City’s compensation and classification systems.
  • Information Technology activities include infrastructure, network administration, compliance, security and employee support.  Also digitized applications and new technologies.
  • Communications activities comprise government access Channel 6 operations, original programming, electronic newsletter, website, and social media management.
