What is Absentee Voting?

Early voting, also known as absentee voting, is casting a voting ballot either by mail or in-person up to 46 days prior to Election Day.  This year, absentee voting for the November 3 general election begins Friday, September 18.

The health and safety of Red Wing residents is of paramount importance to us.  This year, the City encourages voters to vote by mail this election season.

In-person options: Absentee vote during regular business hours at either of the following locations, however, we encourage voters with COVID-19 concerns to take advantage of voting by mail.
