2018 3rd & Bush Street Intersection Sidewalk & Street Improvements

Proposed improvements for 3rd & Bush Street construction is scheduled to begin Monday, June 4, 2018, and should be completed by end of July 2018. Detours will be signed during the duration of the construction.

Scope of Work

This project will improve the intersection of 3rd and Bush Street in downtown for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic.  The construction will begin with the reconstruction of the roadway pavement within 3rd and Bush Street. After the new roadway pavement, the new sidewalks will be constructed. The last part of the reconstruction of the intersection will consist of the reconstruction of the roadway pavement and new sidewalks at the Jordan Court Crossing. Lastly, the new pedestrian flasher will be installed.

Construction Updates Available

  • Throughout the duration of the project, weekly project update meetings will be held on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.  Representatives of the contractor, City of Red Wing, and Bolton-Menk will be present.  The public is welcome to attend.
