2019 Project Update
The Contractor is planning to begin work on the remaining construction items by the end of April 2019. The remaining work items, consisting primarily of concrete sidewalk and final turf establishment, are expected to take approximately 3-4 weeks. The final contract completion date for all work, including maintenance and final clean-up, is on or before June 1, 2019.

Scope of Work
This project will partially replace the intersection of Highway 61 and Spring Creek Road with a signalized intersection configuration. Portions of Spring Creek Road (County Road 53) and Spring Creek Avenue will be reconstructed with this project, and North and South Services Drives will be extended to complete the frontage road system. Driveways accessing Highway 61 and the Carol Lane crossover will be eliminated. Items that will be completely replaced in the project area include:
Improved Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) pedestrian facilities are being expanded with the addition of sidewalks along all roadways in the project.
Construction Updates Available
Throughout the duration of the project, weekly project update meetings will be held on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. in the Public Works lunchroom at 229 Tyler Road North. Representatives of the contractor, City of Red Wing, Goodhue County, and Minnesota Department of Transportation will be present. The public is welcome to attend.
