Red Wing Recycling Just Got Easier!!!
Friday, January 7 2011 12:00 AM
Starting January 1, 2011 Red Wing recycling will change to a 3 sort recycling system. Recyclable materials picked up at Red Wing homes and businesses will only need to be sorted by 3 types:
New markets have been identified that will be able to accept mixed colors of glass for Recycling , thus eliminating the need for residents & businesses to sort glass by color. This change in recycling requirements is intended to make it easier to recycle and collect at the curbside. If you have questions about the new recycling changes. please call the Red Wing Solid Waste Department at 651-385-3658 or E-mail Lisa at firstname.lastname@example.org
