Document Destruction Day - Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The Elder Justice Network is partnering with the Red Wing Waste Campus to help educate about financial exploitation
within the community. Identification theft and financial scams are on the rise and happening right here in Red Wing. The Elder Justice Network was created to empowerand engage our community in acknowledging, preventing and responding to elder abuse through education, advocacy, and resource development.
The Red Wing Waste campus in cooperation with the Elder Justice Network will be holding a one-time document

This event will be on Saturday June 16, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Red Wing Waste Campus (1873 Bench St).
Residents and businesses will be allowed to bring in one "Bankers Box" or standard file storage box (11"X12"X15') for free disposal. After that, the standard rate would apply. Some items to consider disposing of are: confidential documents, checkbooks, photo ID's, personal information, etc.
There will be a booth about the Elder Justice Network and light refreshments provided. Tours of the Red Wing Waste Campus will be offered to the public. This event is one important way to help protect your identity and secure your information.
