Red Wing Paramedics Respond to A Motor vehicle crash

December 19, 2011                                                                                     

(Dec. 19th, 2011, Red Wing, Minn.) – At 08:49 this morning, Red Wing firefighter/paramedics were called to a motor vehicle crash on Learning Lane in Red Wing. A car collided head on with a school bus operated by 1st Student Transit Inc of Red Wing. One student from the bus was transported by Red Wing Ambulance to Fairview Red Wing Emergency with minor injuries. The drivers of both vehicles, as well as the 47 other students on the bus were not injured. Red Wing Fire responded with 2 ambulances and one fire engine.  The remaining students were released to Burnside School officials a half hour after the accident occurred.
