Bituminous Street Overlay Project Update

Work continues on the construction of bituminous milling, bituminous reclamation, bituminous pavement overlay and other appurtenant construction on several streets and parking lots in Red Wing. These streets will have flaggers, lane closures in both directions, and traffic interruptions at various stages of construction.
A more detailed schedule for the week of July 15th is as follows:
- Bituminous Milling Operations were completed on July 6th. Adjustment of manhole structures, valve box structures and cleanup of milled streets will continue in preparation for bituminous overlay on the proposed streets.

- Bituminous Materials on Proposed Streets - Monarch will begin overlaying of proposed street on Monday, July 15th (weather permitting). Cleanup will follow directly after bituminous overlay operations have been completed on the street. Proposed streets include:
July 16th thru July 19th - Bituminous overlay operations will cease during this time period, and will resume on Saturday, July 20th, weather permitting.
Bituminous Paving Operations Completed - Paving operations have been completed on the Potter Street parking lot, Public Works parking lot, Red Fox Drive and Westwood Hills Drive. Structure adjustments and the final layer of bituminous pavement are expected to be completed on Eunice Avenue during the week.
