Portion of West Avenue Closed Beginning 10/11/16

The City of Red Wing will be closing a portion of West Avenue between West Third & West Fourth Streets beginning Tuesday, October 11th for the replacement of a broken water valve. This closure is expected to last approximately one week, reopening as soon as the work has been completed. Traffic control and detour will be in place.  Drivers are encouraged to avoid this area. City of Red Wing Human Rights Commission Hosting: "Tents of Witness: Genocide and Conflict"

The City of Red Wing Human Rights Commission is hosting the Tents of Witness: Genocide and Conflict exhibit. This traveling display contains canvas tents that depict the story of a different group that has been persecuted because of its identity: race, religion, ethnicity, or national origin. These tents depict the catastrophes in Cambodia, Darfur, the Holocaust, and against the Native Americans.
