City to Consider Adoption of Red Wing Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan

The City Council will consider adoption of the Red Wing Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan at their next meeting scheduled for November 28, 2011. The Red Wing Advisory Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the draft plan at their meeting conducted on November 15th. David Anderson, a member of Live Healthy Red Wing spoke in favor of adoption of the plan. After discussion, the commission adopted a motion unanimously to recommend that the City Council adopt the Master Plan as an amendment to the City's Comprehensive Plan.
