2013 Fall Yard Waste Clean-up Dates Announced Saturday, October 5th  through Saturday, November 16th, City of Red Wing residents may dispose of brush at no charge during regular business hours.  The disposal site is located at the Solid Waste Campus, 1873 Bench Street.  Special bags are not necessary to dispose of materials at this site as all materials must be emptied from the containers in which they are brought.  After November 16th, 2013, regular rates for disposal of brush will apply. Citizens occasionally contact the City of Red Wing to complain about a tree on public or private property.  The City appreciates notice of problems with trees on boulevards and in parks or in situations where trees on private property put the public at risk.  The City generally does not get involved in disputes between neighbors about private property trees. On Monday, September 9, 2013 the Red Wing City Council approved the settlement of the lawsuit involving the City, Mississippi National Golf Links, Inc., Wendell Pittenger Golf Operations Inc., Wendell Pittenger, and Associated Bank. The City commenced the lawsuit when Mississippi National Golf Links, Inc. ceased operation of the Mississippi National Golf Course. In the lawsuit, the City had alleged that closure of the course breached the Golf Course Lease under which the Course has been operated since 2008. Pine Street Reconstruction to Begin September 11th

Portion of Bush Street Closed Thursday & Friday, September 12-13

The area affected is the portion of Bush Street from 24th Street to Lehrbach Road. Portion of Sturgeon Lake Road Closed beginning 9/10/13
