Two Red Wing Earth Month Activities on Friday April 20th

Come join us for the two events of Red Wing Earth Month occurring on Friday April 20th:The students of the Red Wing School District will be doing cleaning and beautifications at our parks and around town during the day. Others are welcome to help if they would like!Then later on in the afternoon and into the evening, Riverbend Market Cooperative will be holding their official Grand Opening ceremony. Bicycle Rodeo

The Red Wing Police Department will again be hosting our annual Bicycle Rodeo on May 5th, 2012 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  The Rodeo will be held at the Goodhue County Law Enforcement Center parking lot at 430 West 6th Street in Red Wing.   A bicycle safety course will be set up for the kids to ride their bicycles through and learn safety rules.  Kids should bring their own bicycles.  Free hot dogs and pop will be provided for all kids who participate.  Many prizes and several bicycles will also be given away.  The Rodeo is a fun and educational experience for the kids in the community!! 

Fundraiser May 5 at Jordan Tower

The Jordan Towers Resident Council and Semcac are holding a fundraiser on May 5 at the Jordan Tower II Sailstad Room.  The proceeds will be used toward the LED Flash Beacon Light for the mid-street crossing on Fourth Street.  The fundraiser includes a Spaghetti Dinner from 11 am to 2 pm and a Silent Auction.  Slient Auction Flyer

Burning Ban Lifted
