City to Submit Grant Proposal through American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

Jay McCleary, Deputy Director, Public Works Department  The City of Red Wing currently has four projects that may qualify for funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The ARRA program anticipates spending more than $10 million throughout the state to provide partial funding for lighting upgrades, energy efficient windows, and other cost-effective energy projects ready for immediate implementation.
