Comprehensive Plan

In 2005 the City of Red Wing Advisory Planning Commission began a process to update the community’s Comprehensive Plan. The process involved citizens in dozens of very public meetings and included the contributions of the Mayor’s Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. On April 9, 2007, the Red Wing City Council adopted a new Comprehensive Plan for the City. Later in May of 2007, the City Council adopted the Upper Harbor Master Plan as an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan in order to guide future development of the Upper Harbor Area. Currently, the Advisory Planning Commission has now completed the Red Wing Community Sustainability Report. Copies of these documents are available in the links listed below.
