Public Library Board Meeting

The Red Wing Public Library has a nine-member governing board of city residents appointed by the Mayor and City Council, which makes policy relative to the library’s services, collection development and programming, use of the building, intellectual freedom issues, and develops and monitors the budget. Its mission is to “grow lifelong learners”. The board meets the second Wednesday of every odd month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Workshops may occur as needed on the second Wednesday of even months at 6:00 p.m. in the Foot Room of the Red Wing Public Library.
