The Solid Waste Division provides management and support services for the collection and disposal of garbage and recyclable materials for the residents, commercial and industrial users, and institutions in the City of Red Wing. This budget is divided into four main areas:

Deputy Director Jeff Schneider
Jeff Schneider was hired as the Deputy Director of Solid Waste for the Public Works Department on June 29, 2009. Jeff has an AA degree in Liberal Arts from Rochester Community College, a BS in Biology specializing in Cell & Modecular Biology. Jeff also entered the graduate Environmental Sciences program at the U of M, Mankato.
