For the health and safety of the public and staff, the Law Enforcement Center is currently closed to the public.
For permits and records requests, please call the Administrative number at 651.267.2600.
During this time, please use the non-emergency number, 651.385.3155, for calls not requiring an officer response so 911 lines can be kept open for critical calls.
During the month of October, in support of our family, friends, and community members that have fought or continue to fight this disease, the Red Wing Police Department/Chief Pohlman has approved officers to wear pink badges throughout the month. The badges were purchased by officers at their own expense, with 10% of the cost going towards breast cancer research.
If you would like to join the RWPD in the fight against breast cancer, you can make a donation here (link) or to any breast cancer organization of your choice.
The Red Wing Police Department was established in 1887. Prior to that time, the city employed constables for law enforcement. The Police Department provides the community with traditional police services including:
- Crime Prevention
- Evidence Technician
The Police Department continues to employ and train a highly motivated and skilled team, preserving the highest ethical standards with an unyielding dedication to service.
